The Central Basin Bass Club hosted it's 16th annual benefit tournament on October 16, 2011. The tournament benefits the Child Life & Education Department of MetroHealth Medical Center. MetroHealth received $2,100 at this event.  Over the 16 years we have done the benefit we have raised $27,602 for this operation.

The tournament site was at Portage Lakes (New Park State Ramp off Manchester Road ). $500 Big Bass payout went to the team of Farkas & Adkins with $1,300 first place prize going to the team of Starkey & Reed.   The winning team also won the Daiwa Steez spinning reel valued at over $500.00.

We had 42 teams weigh-in fish (with 89 teams participating in the event). There were 203 fish brought to the scale that weighed 379.93 pounds. Big Bass was 5.62# and 2nd BB was 5.30#.
