Most Memorable fishing experience

It was early March and couldn’t wait to go get some bass. My mother took my buddy and I to our favorite fishing hole, Slope Creek for the weekend to do some camping. We were going to do things a little old fashioned way and eat what we caught. At this time, which I was only an age of 13 catch and release had not been and issue as of today. We did pack a good bit of food just in case. We were no master fishermen at this age. Long story short. We woke to go fishing the next morning only to find 2” of that white stuff on the ground. Yea, we call it snow. And to top that off it’s a good thing we intended to eat what we caught because we left the food in mom’s car.
