Erie Bay Bassers to host 2006 Regionals at Lake Erie (ramp- West Harbor off of RT. 53) April 29th and 30th, 2006
2006 meeting dates voted on and approved: Two meetings for 2006 Dates are April 4 and October 10th, 2006 April meeting is for election of one Director, Regional Pairings and October is for all paperwork and moneys to be turned in.
The members discussed and voted on holding a Region 2 Clubs Grudge Match on September 17th at Lake Erie and the winning Club would receive a traveling plaque.

Informed members present that we had to move the December meeting to October. Members present, approved the 18th.
All clubs paperwork and member dues will be due at the next meeting in October 18th. If no one from your club can make the meeting, than it must be in Alan's hands or mine (Mike) by no latter than Nov. 1st. No Acceptations Paperwork includes: club membership roaster, officers, and all reports - youth, environmental, tournament results and achievement awards and notebooks.
Next OBCF Board meeting will be November 5th and all members were informed that they may come to any of the board meetings. We now have a total of 116 Sr. Clubs with 1747 Sr. Members and 13 Clubs with 144 Jr. Members.
When ordering Casting Kids kits, give at least a 4 weeks advance notice on your order of the kits.
Next years (2006) tentative SQT's and Classic tournament sites are as follows: SQT 1 Seneca Aug. 12-13 SQT 2 Indian Lake Aug. 19-20 Classic Grand Lake St Mary's Sept. 30-Oct 1 These are not final as of this date.
Mill Creek Anglers, Allen County Bassmasters, and or Seneca Bassmasters are up next to host Regionals for 2006. Waiting on acceptance!
Members were also concerned on how the pairings were done for the SQT's. Some members voiced their concerns on how Alternates wound up fishing in a hire place than they did at the SQT's. When alternates are used in these tournaments, they are put in the place of the person that has choose not too fish, after the pairings were done. It is too difficult to move everybody around so that higher finishers maintain a high place than the alternates that are filling in and or send them to a different tournament. Meeting Minutes Clubs Present and number of attendees: Allen 1, Cridersville 5, Erie 2, Findley 4, North Central 1, Northwestern 2, Sandusky 1, Seneca 4, St. Mary's 1, Trophy 2, Wyndot 1, and Yankee 3, with a total of 27 members present.Old Business· Lake criteria for selecting lakes was voted on to leave as is. · Pot Tournament was tabled to next meeting. · All clubs was notified that all paper work was to turned in no later than December 10th. · Member present was informed to check their raffle tickets for numbers not matching on main ticket with stub. · We have the permit for Indian Lake Regionals, for the Moundwood ramp. New Business· Members were notified of insurance needing to be at $300,000 minimum. · 2005 Region 2 meeting dates and time 7:30 PM same place - voted on and passed are April 5th, need to vote on one Regional Dir., which term expires July 1st. next meeting dates, August 23rd, Dec. 6th. · Members were notified of new Youth Director. · Meeting Adjourned Submitted by Mike Hanes |
